İlkay Öztürk

İlkay Öztürk is a photographer, instructor, and creative director specializing in gastronomy photography, visual storytelling, and brand content.

With a strong narrative language stemming from a background in journalism and publishing, she has been conducting professional work in communication, content production, photography, and the brand world for over 25 years. Starting her career in the press sector, Öztürk held various roles from photojournalism to editing in major publications such as Marketing Türkiye, Sabah, and Hürriyet. She also took an active role in the same outlets during the media world's transition to digital publishing.

Today, under the umbrella of Food Art Studio, of which she is the founder, she produces photography, video, commercials, recipe content, styling, and visual brand language for Turkey's leading food brands, restaurants, and gastronomy projects.

Also known for her role as an instructor, İlkay Öztürk has provided training on food photography, content production, and visual storytelling to thousands of people since 2014, sharing her knowledge and experience with photographers, content creators, and entrepreneurs.

Viewing photography not just as a technical recording tool, but as a powerful narrative language where light, emotion, composition, and story meet, Öztürk prioritizes meaning as much as aesthetics, and an original perspective as much as visual quality. She continues her work in the fields of gastronomy, brand communication, and visual production as the founder and Creative Director of Food Art Studio.
